The bent seat tube is indeed an "acquired taste" item for most C&Vers..... but that uber kewhl number tag hanger kinda helps take some attention away from it.....

A 1972 Gitane Super Corsa that I picked up for my teenage son to ride. Sadly, he prefers thrashing around on his mountain bike so I may end up setting this up for myself. Can't feel too sorry about that!

It would appear to me with the rear wheel "sucked in" more that it would have been shorter. I can achieve that wheelbase on some of my "regular" bikes.

Maybe the purpose of the "S" bent seat tube is also to allow for a longer top tube on a short wheelbase bike??

Peugeot Course. In very neglected condition. Does have cool components, I'm trying to convince the owner to upgrade the brakeset. I have access to a spidel side pull brakeset. Has english bb and french threaded steertube. It's all apart now, just got back from the frame builders, had to align everything. Used a henry james frame aligning machine.

Mini-finders for Peogeot UO-8?

What bike were these originally on (and what years), and what are they called?

Thanks!
