Land Shark Redux - Sunset

For those of you who have followed the Land Shark Story, thanks for your encouragement. It has been fun and the 1991 Land Shark was certainly the right acquisition.

I had been looking for a high end C&V or modern classic "racing" bike to set up semi retro with 8 on the DT.

The Land Shark seems to have a criterium geometry, which fits me well:
ST - 56
TT - 55
Chain stay -- 39
Tire to ST clearance with a 23mm tire -- about 1/8th"

I set it up with a 12-21 cassette so I can really go out and hurt myself.

Ride Report: Similar to my Trek 660 and Litespeed Ultimate (climbing, acceleration, out-of-saddle sprinting), but more so. I am not one to attribute "soul" to inanimate objects, but this bike is alive. I think I have found my favorite steel bike.

very nice looking. I wonder if anyone would get the joke if you hung a Whitman Sampler boxtop from the number tab?
