serial# 2A01504.
Any ideas? Not waterford, not aluminum as far as I know.

OS 2 or 3 or 5 or 7?? You do need pictures but since it has 2 in the serial number i would guess 1992. Roger

from what I've been told Series 5 and 7 are Japanamounts, or better yet Panamounts, (Panasonic Paramounts) all lower numbers are Taiwanesamounts. I remember reading a thread about the Paramount Series 2 OS and although the components on this one make the bike a lot more valuable than the OP's in the other thread, he managed to get the same bike stock and complete for $125. I believe this model originally had a Shimano 500ex group so it has definitely been upgraded.

whats your opinion on the price? just wondering, I'm not buying it, I picked up an all orig Series 5 for $150.00 a few weeks ago.
