Specialized Sirrus

Hey, i bought this specialized sirrus and was wondering what model year it was. Also, the front rim is a wolber with rx100 hub, and the rear... is different more aerodynamic design with a shimano 105 hub. It looks black in this photo, but it's a dark blue/purple. all the components on this bike are rx-100.

That looks a lot like my wifes bike. Which most thought was a 91.

Is that a 54cm or 56cm? I wish my wife's bike was that size.

wow, yea ours are the same except yours is a triple. The frame is a 56 CM. and boy, it is sun faded compared to yours.
The guy i bought it from didn't take much care for it because that thing is filthy, and rusty. The crank is loose, and i believe it might be missing
a bearing because it wobbles.. hopefully the LBS can determine what is wrong. How does it ride? i bet smooth.

+1 I think you have the right date. As to how it rides.. It rides as lively as a Thoroughbred at least my '88 is. The '87 to mid '90s Sirrus (Sirri?) were racing bikes. Around '90ish they started to become more sports tourers with the addition of rear rack mounts.

alright cool, well im glad i picked this bike up. i was going to trade the guy my bmx bike, but i didn't think it was an equal trade. i'll have to bring it to the LBS and get it tuned. I've been riding it and i do like the feel of it..but it needs some tuning and the crank needs to be looked at. Thanks for the info guys.
