1979 Carnielli Cyclette
I don't often praise my own bikes, but I love this one! I'm on it every morning after my espresso and my wife let's me keep it in the living room. The kids cannot stay off of it and my older son (not pictured) is on it about an hour a day. It is a Carnielli Cyclette made for Harrod's in 1979. The original owner shipped it here in a container when she moved from London, but she is moving into a retirement home and couldn't keep it so I bought it from her. I always wanted an exercise bike but hated the way they look, but I just love this thing. When I got it the tensioner was broken but I fixed it and now it works like a charm. My fastest bike yet ! Very nice. Now we'll need a C&V sub-forum for exercise bicycles.

Thanks guys. Up till now I had no idea that Carnielli ever made anything except Bottechia's. Has anyone ever seen a regular Carnielli bicycle?

They made Bottecchia, Graziella, Carnielli, Amica, Annabella, and Roma-Sport. I've seen a picture of a Carnielli and a few Graziellas (Grazielle?). They spun off Bottecchia years ago but they still make a version of the Cyclette. How about some brand new Carniellis?
