You could always use a clamp-on FD, and pink isn't a turn off to me, but:

there's a small dent on the downtube and some rust spots
Yikes - especially since they are conveniently not shown in the photos. If I was local I might check it out as it is my size, but otherwise I'd pass.

Yeah, I got pretty excited about it at first... even the color. I came back down after reading about the rest of it's issues.

Unfortunately, Medici's just don't get much respect. I have followed a number on ebay recently, and the final offers as they did not meet reserve or the transaction prices were depressing.

I have one, maybe their time will come, but not yet.

I would blame that braze on failure on Simonetti, Howard had a better reputation than that.

Mr. Howard is making a few Wizards again, $5k for a frame set.

I'd buy it if I were local since it is my size and the pink looks great to my eye but that second photo is really suspicious to me...why not actually photograph the dent?

I would believe crash, rust, mechanic's malpractice or material failure before I'd blame it on a builder.

I would look at that frame first to make sure the blame doesn't belong squarely on the head of a hipster.

And I would wager they are fabulous. I too, watch these from time to time. The prices are dirt cheap, and they are a classy, interesting brand. Hard to understand the market on these!
