Group jersey order: participants please Order + Pay

I'm cancelling this group order, and returning all money received so far. There were only 8 jerseys ordered by people here (who would buy if the order failed to reach the 40+ discount), and the AU order has enough participants at the 12-39 discount level that they can make their own order, and save themselves some money, by not doing it with the USA order.

I wish! In terms of people who said they'd buy during the course of the thread, we're over 40, but not by much. In terms of people who've actually filled out an order, only 7, with 5 paid.

I can wait as long as you feel necessary if we get close. I am not in any hurry to get this.

Nuts. Let's keep pushing it. In my form, I said that I wouldn't buy if we don't reach 40, but I will. After your hard work on this and the Sutherland's, it's the least that I can do. And, I'm in no hurry either. It'll be cold in Chicago until July!

Quite a long trip too! Austrailia to Asia to US and back. Who knows where else it stops along the way. I was not aware that the wool came from Australia.

World trade working well, but I should now plant a tree for the carbon miles it has clocked up.

I'm also fine with waiting. Let us know when we hit the dozen mark.
I expected some stretch to get to 40 - but am fine with the 12+ price.

At some point - we may need to hit up folks with a pm to gently remind them that they indicated that they're in. We can divide up a list if you want help with pms.

Maybe post a copy of this in C&V marketplace?

Again - like others said, we appreciate all your efforts.

Haha, obviously I didn't look over the home page that well! I read some other websites about the benefits and uses for wool jerseys and barely read the OCW page. I figured this was just an opportunity to give wool a shot at a lower price point.

I should plant a tree... mainly because my house gets pounded by the sun in the summer!

Charles;
Just sent e-mail and $$ for one LS jersey. I calculated total as $70.20 with embroidered logo, but I sent you $80 on PP. The remainder is to express my gratitude and repay just a bit of the time you invested in this venture. Thank you again, I think these are going to look great!

Please see this post to place order.

Obviously, the sooner everyone gets forms and payment to me, the sooner I can make the order.
DEADLINE is flexible, but if things don't pick up by a few days after end of the month (Feb), I'll set a 2-day deadline, after which I'll submit only orders that agreed to pay the higher price.

STATUS: (Thu 27 Feb, 9:00 AM EST) 23 jerseys ordered (including 15 in AU) + paid, three submitted w/o payment yet. The 12-39 discount rate is secure, but we're only a bit over halfway to the 40+ discount.

I knew there was alot of sheep in Australlia but I did not know Merino wool came from there. I thought like champagne comes from france, Bourbon from Kentucky, cashmere from the war zone between India and Pakastan, "the disputed Cashmere region" Merino wool only came from somewhere in Italy

I believe that most Merino comes from New Zealand? In any event, a lot does. And, regardless of origin, it's amazing stuff. I only wear Merino wool socks now. Can't go back to cotton. If you buy them in the off season, they're not badly priced (Sierratradingpost.com).

Gratuitous bump.

If we have a smaller order - any option for getting our BF moniker someplace?
Only if a number of folks want them. Just something to think about why we're waiting...

I meant - is there any place one the shirt that I could "phillyrider", BF name, written in small text.
It's probably too custom - but just wondering.

Why don't you call Chad Krueger and ask him? Anything that's customized detracts from the convenience/efficiency of getting/prepping/shipping a bulk order, of course.

The wool is named for the breed of sheep, Merino. Not a region of the world. See Wiki:
