I don't have any info for you but....gotta love that headbadge.

Also, if these fit you you must be of "smaller stature"?

All you have to do is wait a little while for T-mar to show up and youll have your answer. That Sekine frame is sweet though...

The Sekine looks like an sha or b model maybe late 70s early 80s looking at the seat tube decal, kinda bike shop entry level from its time period. Not too bad, but its basic plain guage steel frame with stamped drop outs so I would pass, you should be able to find something better. I'm not sure what the nishiki is, maybe a triathlon model, im sure someone will chime in, looks like an 88 or '89 era bike, exage groupo? worth 145$? well where are you from?

get the nikishi.

its a great bike build on late 80's shimano gear. You won;t be able to build up the $50 sekine frame for the price of the nikishi.

also the sekine frame may be a 27" wheel model.

Arrrrrrrrgh! Well, I missed out on the Nishiki. I emailed the person a bunch of times, then today get a response that it's sold...Im blaming this one on the gmail push sync problem on my iphone.

Yeah, I saw that, what a bummer. You have to be fast in Toronto....

It looks like it is Uncle Jacob re-selling it too, talk about bad karma.

I think that Nishiki is an Olympic-Tri-A circa 1988 or so. Looks like a 46cm which might be a bit small for someone 5'4".

Thanks man, it's a little too far for me to drive.

So that nishiki was posted again with new alexrims, new crank, handlebars, and other random stuff and listed this time for $399. Somebody called them out and the posting is now deleted by the author. Lol.

Used bike shops like Uncle Jacobs operate like a pawn shop, they will buy any bike as long as the seller supplies I.D. The type of person who is stealing bikes and selling them generally doesn't give a damn about getting caught they just want money asap. Uncle Jacob does not operate outside of the law and he does nothing illegal but it is damned sketchy...

Igor went one step further and cut out the middle man and paid for bikes with crack. That is why the cops started to care about his operation and it was really pure luck that he was caught, nothing more. I think he has the last laugh though, he just sold his "shop" and I bet it went for a lot of cash, upwards of $700K. He paid $85K for it in 1996...
