Dynamax Concorde

I cannot believe my good fortune. My neighbor has just gifted me his 40 year old Dynamax Concorde, an old ten-speed which he says has not been ridden in 35 years. It appears to be completely new except for decades of storage without any maintenance.

Does anyone know anything about this bicycle? I could find no information online. It has a lugged frame with Reynolds 531 maintubes, Campy Nouvo Record shifters and derailers, Weinmann brake calipers and levers, a Stronglight crank, brooks saddle, "Normandy" hubs with alloy rims, and a french made tire-driven dynamo lighting system. there are no braze-ons except for fender eyelets: everything is secured with brackets.

I would appreciate any info.

Thanks,

Elliot

Just found the other threads on Dynamax bikes. I still welcome comments/inputs/more history, though.

Could anyone date this bike?

Cheers

Roughly mid-70s, I would say. Much of the componentry & frame detail is remarkably similar to Motobecane's offerings in that era.

Yes, I bet there's a connection to Moto (or the MBK company): they were known to produce a couple other brands in addition to Motobecane. This one may be approximately equal to a Grand Record (which ain't bad at all).
Those Weinmann brakes are very short-reach, and even more the front looks adjusted to the top of its slot: is this a 700C frame with 27" wheels?
