Vintage Stem Shifter Help

I saw this shifter on e-bay a few months ago and had to have it for A bike I was planning. It was listed as a Shimano stem shifter I believe it also said 5 or 6 gears. Now I have started the build, Its a Brand New Schwinn Delmar that I stripped it down to bare frame replaced all the bearings, I purchased a set of those Monarch repop forks and had them beefed up ( extra welds and crown race put on) Now I am ready to add the wheels, brakes and gears. I am looking to find what freewheel, derailleur combo will work with it.
Any help would Be greatly Appreciated
Cheers

If it's friction I would imagine just about 5 speed combo would work with it. If it's a positron style you would probaly need a SIS or equivalent

I remember seeing this in the early 80s on very low end Asian imports.

It's a Shimano 333 stem shifter, that looks like it's a 5 speed shifter (one Handle) I have a 10 speed Shimano 333 shifter ( two handles) that needs cleaning, and all the frame brackets. Everything would need cleaning/rechroming. All the parts have surface rust. Most of the set is useable, most of it you can use to match replacement parts. Also have the 333 shifter cable housings, you can use them to make duplicates. If you want them PM me, I'll let you have all of it for the shipping cost.
