ideas for short-reach handlebars with 25.4 mm clamp size?

I am looking to switch out the handlebars on an older (1990 trek 520-- which is why i'm posting in this forum instead of bicycle mechanics-- wasn't sure which was right!) bike that I recently acquired. it currently has nitto noodles on them-- probably the 42 cm, but not totally sure. I would like handlebars with a shorter reach, and was considering the nitto 105s until i saw that they (i think?) only come in a 37 cm width and i am pretty sure that would be too narrow for me, as the current noodles feel pretty much fine (i could maybe see going down to 40?). (I'm a woman with relatively broad shoulders but still lady-sized hands.) and i've been poking around, and it seems like virtually all of the other especially short-reach handlebars out there have a 31.8 mm clamp size. does anyone have any suggestions for short-reach handlebars that come in sizes wider than 37 cm and that fit a 25.4/26 mm clamp?!
thanks!!

Are you sure it's not 26mm?

Oops... sorry, yes, apparently the noodles do have 26 mm "centers."

Nitto B115-420.

I have one if you'd like pictures.

I'm having trouble finding the specs for those online-- do they have a shorter reach than the 96 mm of the 177s?

Deda Elementi Shallow bars sound close to what you are looking for. They have about 75-80mm reach and 42-46cm widths. They make several varieties and some come with 26mm clamps. The 37cm bars with Shallow reach are meant for children.

Another vintage alternative is try to locate a Randonneuse bar (not to be confused with Nitto Randonneur). These older bars common on high end French bikes (with 25.4mm clamps) and on several Schwinns in the 70s had pretty shallow reach (the one on my Gitane has about 80mm C-C).

I don't know. They have a nice small curve that fits my small hands comfortably. I don't use them because I use Cinelli bars/stems on all my threaded steerers. I ride the drop part of the bars 99% of the time.

thanks for the info EjustE, the deda elementis look promising. (the randonneuse ones seem like they might be harder to find...)

The Soma Highway One in 26 is really comfortable and looks great on a quill stem bike with STI shifters. They are probably my first choice but they only come in 26. I have some on my '97 Lemond Zurich and they are very comfortable.

My wife has these Dimension drop bars on one of her bikes. They come in 25.4 or 26.

I'm thinking of trying these on an upcoming project. Looks like the seller has these in 25.4.
