Raleigh Olympian Mixte year help
I found this at the thrift store last weekend and luckily someone before me decided to upgrade most of the parts. Raleigh 502 tubing.

And your BMW tossed its engine ID plate like mine did many years ago. Bike is gone now though.

My first true 2 wheel love, my BMW’s. I still have the plates for the 1972 R60/5. The black backing paint came off years ago and pulled the plates to save them from falling off and repaint them at some point. I also have a 77 R100S and a 92 K75RT.

I don't know the year, so I am just spitballing. To me it looks like an '80's bike made in Taiwan. Now I know England made bikes are more desirable, however, the build quality on the Taiwan made bikes is excellent. And of course the bike was designed and spec'ed by Raleigh. That was a great value at the time.
That is a nice mixte you picked up @Lbxpdx . With fenders too.
But again I'm guessing here.

I have a few. The 72 just needs a speedo rebuild, my 77 needs a tank and I have a few bicycle frames that need to be finished. I also have quite a few guitar and watch projects. Oh yeah, and I’m raising a kid, the largest project of them all.

Mine was a 77R100/7 purchased in 87 and ridden for 28 years. The 100s is nice and I always thought the K series looked best in the 75 versions. Have fun. Years ago I sent my instruments off to Palo Alto speedometer. Long time ago.
