Great build, my first "real" bike was a 560 in black. I rode that thing for 10 years before moving to a C'dale. NIce job, and very nice attention to detail. That chainstay fender clamp is very well executed. Nicely done all around.

just be sure to use plenty of water and dish soap on the wool pad, it provides a lubricant and produces a much better result than if done dry.

I love the gold on the Raleigh, I am hoping to find somebody with a steady hand to retrace the white "Super Course" script on the top tube and it will be perfect.

I used Cinelli "Natural Cork" tape and 6-8 coats of amber shellac. I think the OP said he used white.
