Identifying a bicycle by serial number alone might work sometimes but not always. Your best bet to glean information is to supply good, clear pictures of the complete bicycle and of frame set details (lugs, braze-ons, drops etc). Doing this will dramatically increase your chances of getting useful feedback.

Hope this is a help.l

+ 1 Pics are a must for identification plus we just love looking at old and hopefully unusual bikes. I will take a guess and say early '80s made in Japan and it has two wheels

+1 to everthing BG and randy said. Based on the 600 components I'm going to hazard a guess that it could be a Miyata 912 from the early 80's. I know, from velobase, that the Arabesque versions of 600EX components were made from 1978-1984. You can check Miyata Catalogs at https://www.miyatacatalogs.com/ to see if you can find any more information or a bike that looks the same. If it is a 912 it is from the top of Miyata's 'Semi-Pro' lineup which translates into an excellent bike, usually only third in their road bike line up behind the Pro and Team (tourers not included). Cheers!

Can you post a picture of the entire bike please. Up against a neutral background like white garage door is always best, and please take it so the right (drive) side is facing the camera. Cheers!

the wheels have been changed out from some rusty arayas that might have not been original to the bike because they didn't fit right. and its been re-sprayed due to it being previously painted with house paint by some tard

Thank you and from the photos that are up I am going to say that the lug work looks strikingly similar to a Miyata 710 I had. Mine was a 1984. Does it say Miyata on the fork crowns? The even funnier thing is that I actually rattle canned mine in the exact same colour because someone had really fudged up the paint/most of it was missing.
