Help newbie to buy first vintage bike
Hi, I'm totally new about bikes and looking to buy something under $200 usd. But I really don't have an idea of which brands are the best or which model suits me better.
I'm 6 feet tall and just want this bike to move for short distances (< 2miles) around city, I live in Mexico City, each day so any suggestion you may have to help me? Any suggestion will be really aprecciated since I'm a total n00b about bike models but dont want to buy a bad bike.
PS: I investigated myself some facts about good vintage bikes but , as you may know, its kind of hard to find some experienced and honest suggestions.

Probably the best way to learn is post some of the options you have, with photos as good and numerous as you can get, here, and let us give you opinions. We have no shortage of them!
At your height, you should probably be looking in the 58cm range, give or take a centimeter or two - if you want a 'road racing' bike. However, for such a short commute, a 3 speed or singlespeed may be more suitable, in a similar size range.
