What kind of a bike is that, illwafer? Looks like some pretty slack angles.

WERA: I used to make it an annual trip to Pocono International Raceway to catch the WERA Formula USA event, some 15-20 years ago. Always such a good time and race.
I remember one year, Yamaha brought their 500cc 2-stroke GP bike over and spanked the entire field. I think the rider nearly lapped the entire field!
I wonder if I had watched you race.

I'll add a couple. They were taken at different times but I just happened to be wearing the same jersey both days (yes I have more than one jersey but this one is worn often because it's from a work sponsored bike team).
On a lazy group ride with my Fuji Touring Series V

Snapped by a buddy in the hills near Lawrence Welk Village on a fast group ride on my Titanium MongoosePro

Not a chance, for you see I didn't start racing until I was 67 years old! I was 65 the first time I ever got on a racetrack with a motorcycle. Back in the middle 70s, I went to Pocono and saw Kenny Roberts race.. Awesome...

I race with WERA and CCS.

Never been on a 2 stroke!!

I am a late bloomer!!

Well, I posted one pic, but this thread is too much fun:

Me, my boy, my wife on the left, the wife of a friend on the right:

With my son and one of his buddies:

That is me face down on the right (sorry, couldn't resist, but it is the most recent photo of me):

OK, OK. I don't own the MOOTS. But the other picture of me going up the Colorado National Monument is slouchier...

The Western Rim trail in Rabbit Valley was even more awesome:

The road bike is my SOMA Smoothie, and the mountain bike is my Redline 1x9 29er. Vroom.

Yeah, I had some "issues" w/ ummm friction from the ride @ Shins and I was taking NO chances w/ this ride.... The jersey was free and my wife bought the bibs for me for Christmas (they are quite comfy but I feel ridiculous)

I've got the same helmet! Fits and works great, and about $50 less than the schmancy Giros.

Thanks. As you know, it's always important to have the right tool for the job. And cycling has many categories and subcategories that must be filled.

Nothing really good with me and a bike. But, I offer me with three different levels of scary facial hair. The two urchins are my riding posse.
