i just got a bike looks like from the 80's' its called Talbot and it has all good parts like campangnolo
do you have any information about bikes and of Talbot?
i would like to spot my bike and know what it is so i can we-live them again,

Richard Talbot was a New England frame builder back in the 70s and 80s. He gained some notoriety by publishing one of the first "how-to" guides for designing and building a bicycle frame with minimal investment in specialized tooling. The bike in your picture does not look like something he would have made, although it's difficult to see much detail on the frame. The components on the pictured bike look like inexpensive, entry-level stuff, not what you would find on a high-end custom frame.

There was Richard Talbot as above, also a line of bikes branded Talbot out of Carleton Cycles in Vancouver BC and I believe also a UK brand called Talbot.

Yours is the Talbot brand made by Peugeot. Talbot was an Anglo-French company that were most famous for cars, they amalgamated with various companies but eventually taken over by Peugeot who used them as a secondary bike brand.
I have a Talbot saddle which is similar to the old B17N, having internal bag loops.

i have always gotten a chuckle out of how the marque is pronounced due to the Anglo-French history.

in Albion it is "tall-butt" and in Gaul "tall-bow."

...also at one time associated with the Sunbeam company who's antique bikes are well liked.

recall a poem quoted in an old issue of the Cyclist's Touring Club newsletter with the line which went something like "...just give me a Sunbeam and a star to steer her by..."

Cars were originally Sunbeam-Talbot-Darracq, sold as Sunbeams and Talbots in England, Talbots and Darracq in France. During the Depression, sold to Rootes Motors (Hillman and Humber, amongst others), which later became Chrysler UK and Chrysler France (Simca, Talbot). By the mid-70's, all their European cars were badged as Chryslers. By 1977, Chrysler had sold out to Peugeot/Citroen, who renamed the cars Talbot. By the early 80's, anything left over had become Peugeots.

And yes, the Sunbeam bicycle was there before the Sunbeam automobile. The usual English progression, just skipping the motorcycle step.

It seems to me that there was a Talbot and a Talbot Lago. There were some really beautiful cars in the first half of the 20th century but when I was bumming around Europe in the Gay 90s, they were Chrysler K cars, like Talbot Lago Horizons and Talbot Lago Omnis.
