replacement Columbus decal for Cinelli Cuper Corsa
i'm looking to replace the missing Columbus tubing decal on my 1982 Cinelli Super Corsa.
can anyone post a picture of what the exact decal would be?
update. originally reported no rifling in steer tube, but it does after second inspection, just isn't as prominent when it's super dirty in there
fyi the steer tube DOES have rifling if that helps identify the tubing. also, there is an obvious lack of a decal on the seat tube.
link to ebay "columbus decals"-- https://sporting-goods.shop.ebay.com/...286.m270.l1313
post link or item number if that helps.
thanks.

Are you sure that is an 82? I thought that color/graphic was a little later.
I believe that this Columbus decal is the correct one https://cgi.ebay.com/Columbus-frame-f...item45f2c14d79
It is strange that it does not have a rifled steerer tube I don't believe that I have ever seen a complete Columbus tube bike that did not have it and that Cinelli (owned by Columbus ) would definitely have it.

The steerer tubes have had it at least from the 50's, it was used in the Seat Tube in 83/84 as front derailleur braze-ons were leading to tube failure there and then were added to the down tube and chain stays about 85 and the set became SLX.

Actually, it appeared in the seat tube even earlier than that - '84 was when the complete SLX set debuted (possibly making trade show appearances at the end of the preceding year).

UPDATE- steer tube DOES have rifling, i couldn't feel it through all the dirt and grime.
does that change which decal would be appropriate? the one in the ebay listed above still the right one?
there is a 1984 (mine is definitely an '82 btw) on speedbicycles.ch with the same decal as the one in the ebay auction.

The decal on the top right would be correct.

I think a Supercorsa would have been built with top of the range Columbus tubing. In 1982 that would have been SLX. I also think the frame size and geometry would have been a consideration. My Supercorsa is built from SPX - it is a 58cm c to c frame and is a steep angled criterion frame. Perhaps a smaller frame would have been SLX.
