80's Grandis Geometry?
A fellow nearby has an 80's Grandis for sale and it seems it might do well as a bike for doing longer training rides. Are these bikes likely to have an aggressive geometry better suited to racing and time trial type riding or is it suitable for my long conditioning rides?
My gut and my experience with Grandis frames tells me they're not super aggressive, but have more of a stage racing geometry. But I no longer own one, so hopefully someone else will chime in. I will say that you can't go wrong buying an 80's Grandis, and you are very unlikely to regret the purchase.
I own a 1983 Grandis. It has Italian racing bike geometry. I don't find it uncomfortable on long rides but your mileage may vary.
