Performance bicycles

anyone know about a Performance Campione it has Suntour Superbe and Campy parts with Columbus steel? 100 dollars at a thrift store

Superbe and Campy parts in good condition would seal the deal at $100 for me.

They wouldn't hang those parts on a totally crap frame either.

the red one is it, and i will post as soon as i figure out how to this is all new to me. She does need a paint job but she rides like a dream.

Is that what they're calling it these days? Only 90 seconds huh? Then again, that's probably about 90 times more work than the server took to put it on your screen!

I have one of those frames in my basement that I purchased on sale in the 80s. My frame has chromed rear triangle and painted fork, but I was told that the fork was painted red over the chrome. It is my understanding that Performance had a racing team and they commissioned both Basso and Pinarello to build there bikes.

The Performance frame I had was built by BMZ just like Palo Alto's It was the most beautiful frame set I have ever had, unfortunately it was not my size. Sigh. full Columbus SL

Here is my Campione, recently build up with a combo of shimano 600, 105, and rx100. It's a really smooth ride, much less road vibration than my Schwinn 434 aluminum.
