1976 Schwinn Super Le Tour 12.2 - poll in progress
Here's my question-
I've decided to sell my 1976 Schwinn Super Le Tour 12.2 because its just too big for me. It has Shimano 600 derailers (vintage, obviously) on it and I can't decide if I should keep the on the bike or replace with some suntour stuff I have lying around when I sell it. I guess what I need to know is, is this bike "classic" enough that people will want it in its purity or will they just see it as an 80's bike they can ride to college.
details: missing headbadge, some fading, paint missing but not bad. rear wheel is not original...
please feel free to chime in - I'm really torn on this one
on a side note I really want to keep the dearilers, they're cherry

sell it if you have something you like better. AZ college towns might have a good market for it as a beater bike rack bike.

Why not keep the 600 stuff? It's an entry level roadie anyway. It's not going to bring crazy money with the 600 or Suntour either way.
