I'm on and I didn't even ask how to do it. So there.

(In fact I even gave myself a custom avatar and put a pic of my oldest bike in my listing.)

I believe you're right. I went to school just up the road [go Hokies], and had never heard of Rural Retreat.

Mine is up. I did initially put it at my address, but then changed it to my old workplace (Wal-Mart). Feel free to go there and vandalize/steal/burn it all to the mother-effin' ground.

Well, I'm on there but truly in the middle of nowhere. Can the marker be moved a little closer to where I really am?

Just go back to it, hit the edit button and move it. Save it again before you leave.

If you zoom in you can fine tune your location.

I would consider the facillitator list but the CL market here in San Diego is rather outrageous, good deals are few and far between and get swooped up quick.

I saw a similar thing a few years back playing with the routing, I was told to kayak across the Atlantic.

Help.

The web page Adding and Editing Placemarks

says

To add a placemark to your map:

Create or open a map.
Click . Your cursor changes into a placemark icon with an "X" crosshairs. The crosshairs indicate where the placemark will fall.
But I don't see except for other people's placemarks. Am I blind? How do I click it?

First you have to click on the Edit button in the left column. Then I usually just right click on the map and click on add placemark.

Then click the Done button when you're done.

OK, so I'm not crazy. The directions tell me to click an icon that does not appear on the screen. WTF are they thinking? I didn't think to right-click. Thank you. I added my mark. I'm in Maplewood, NJ.
