Wow, I'd love to go to Halifax one day, with a bike, of course!

You gonna eat that?
I noticed that people can change each other's locations. My icon was moved several states over and when I was dragging and dropping to move the map around, I think I may have moved some of the other icons. You may want to check your location; I think maybe I messed you up!

I recommend EVERYONE check their location on the map. I found my icon in Kentucky somewhere, nice place I'm sure, but not my place. A lot of guys out in the middle of the Pacific. Something has gone way awful wrong.

In that race from Hawaii to Cabo San Lucas, Placemark76 seems to have a commanding lead, and that mkeller234 has taken a bit of a northerly trek.

This is a classic example of why stickies don't work. If people don't fix their locations, the whole database is useless, so there'll be no point in it being stickied.

If you accidentally move someones marker, you can click "undo" at the top of the map and it will go back where it belongs. (found that the hard way.. )

Oh, I didn't move anyone's! Well, that's not quite true. I moved my own. I found someone else's out near Halifax and, knowing it's correct location, moved it back. I don't know how the thing got so screwed up... but it's mos' def' screwed up now.

That wasn't directed at you rhm, just the public in general. I was trying to scroll the map to my area and accidentally picked up a marker, then didn't know exactly where I picked it up from. So I put it back close, then saw I could undo the move. I would guess that's how it got messed up, or a troll did it. It seems to me there is some sort of community mapping program where you can add yourself and only the administrators can edit all of them?

I like (but reject) your troll theory... we're a bunch of jokers for sure, but I don't think anyone would find that funny.
I'm mostly just bumping this thread hoping people will notice and look to see where their markers have got to... apparently a bunch of the guys are sailing across the Pacific right now... which is cool, but off-topic on a bicycling forum.
