BRC Road Ace 707

Seemed like it was Asian bicycle day at the yard sales this morning. Picked up a Sekine SHT270 and a fairly high end Shields. To that add a BRC Road Ace 707 scored last weekend. Total investment = $0.00 other than the gas to go get the bikes.

Does anyone know anything about the BRC bicycle? The bike was made in Japan. The one I have is chrome moly butted tubing with forged drops and fitted with a full Shimano 600 Arabesque grouppo. And, of course, it is too small. So is the Shields but the Sekine is just right - Yahoo!

I'm not familiar with BRC, but I had a Marushi Road Ace 707 in the early 80s. It was a nice bike, the best one I owned back then... Are there any kangaroos on the decals? That was their logo at the time.

Say no more. I liked them both so much, I installed both on my own personal Sekine SHT270.

Yes, there are some kangaroos on the decals. Perhaps this is a Marushi with a BRC headbadge.
