Yup, just in time when I'm pretty much out of stash budget already, but I've forced myself to finish off the year by almost completing my Tout French group for my next build........whatever frame I might come across the remainder of the year.
Finally snatched a nice Mavic handlebar, Mavic retrofriction shifters (Finally!), a correct legnth stem and a hollow spindeled Vitus/Bador BB Just this last week. What surprised me is the number of recently harder to find items like retrofriction shifters, now popping up all over with prices much lower than it was this summer. In fact most components seems to have been going for lower prices recently. and it's all out there for the picking in any condition you might be looking for.
Anyone else having good luck "fishing" out there??

Hmm, that thread title really had me thinking of something else entirely.

Didn't you read, the recession is over. I know of a few guys waiting for the Winter, they think prices will be better. Of course, the guy across the street has had his house on the market for over 2 years... If he had offered it for the same asking price back in 2008 as now he would have sold it. The danger is not over yet.

Prices have stabilized, or are down. So people that have accumulated over the last few years are moving the product to market. I know that is what I am doing with misc components.
