Not sure if I have a Corvette, Phantom, or something else. Does anyone know how to easily tell the difference between the different models?

Well, that's not much to go on, a repainted frame. Do you have any pics of the frame before you painted it? Colors might help, components etc.
I can only add one comment as to the model and tell you what it isn't, not what it is.
It's not a Phantom. The Phantom had a spring attached to the fork. Other than that, it could be anyone of a half dozen models, including the Corvette.

Ok. I will put the rest of it back together and take some pictures. I think I may have some pics before taking it and repainting it. If I do I will post them.

Perhaps it is a Typhoon.

What is the serial number and where is it located on the frame? That will tell you the year, and then you can look at the models for that year.
