Next year--I'm making it a strategic imperative to go. Anyone else? Right at the the start of white truffle season, too.

I've got three bikes, and although none are Italian threaded, all qualify being pre-1987 and steel framed.

I'd love to go, but won't until I retire.

I teach middle school aged students, and I am in my prime time season with them when this event is scheduled.

I have the bike though, a very special vintage Italian racer that sits patiently waiting at my nephew's home in Bavaria.

I just have to be patient.

C&V could flood the "race" with American steel as well.

Do they test your A and B samples for "doping" on too many truffles and Italian wine?

I'm there in a heart beat. I love Italy.

Our family really loves northern Italy, as we have visited various regions three times in the last seven years.

Each trip was better than the one that came before it.

We look forward to broadening our knowledge of southern Italy as well, and are starting to research our options.

On second thought, the ride is a bit beyond my skill. I will volunteer for the catering crew, however.
