Saw This - WOW!
Thought someone may be interested. No affiliation with the seller, etc., just a great stash of vintage parts:

Definitely nice stuff, but I'm not seeing $3900 of nice. If he added a NOS anniversary group on top...

I see $400 in saddles alone, and a whole lot in Delta brakes. I think $3900 is probably about what he has into it, depending on prices when he bought. I guess you guys haven't been desperate for alloy Record hubs, either. I've seen a used rear go for close to $300.

I think if that goes on ebay as is right now, it's going for under half his asking price. If parted out, he's getting $3000 max according to the math I just ran (I think substantially less). Subtract ebay fees and he's down to 2600 plus the hassle of dealing with ebay. I think $2200 is more realistic. He also then has the hassle of shipping parts all over the place. I think that's awfully high, especially for Serotta's classified section.
I think the numbers below are actually a bit higher than real value, and it comes to about $2700
Breakdown:
3 San Marco Regal Girardi Saddles (2 NOS and one with approx. 250 miles)
1 Selle Italia White Turbo Matic - NOS
$400
1 C Record Cranks - 172.5mm 1st Gen w/engraved Logo - NOS
$150
2 C Record FD - 28.6mm NOS
$100
1 C Record FD - 28.6mm slightly used
$30
2 C Record RD - polished - First Gen (only 1 is pictured. I will post the other pictures of the second RD soon)
$200
3 sets of C Record Delta Brakes -
1 Set is 3 Pivot - lightly used, no covers.
1 Set is 5 Pivot - lightly used, no covers.
1 Set is 5 Pivot - lightly used, with covers.
$500
1 Record 9 Speed metal Ergo - About 500 miles - clean rubber
$150
1 Record polished silver hubset - lightly used - 36 hole
$225
1 Record polished Ti 27.2 mm Post - inserted into bike - almost NOS
$125
4 Campagnolo Lambda Hoops - 36 hole - NOS - they polish nicely
$500
Group also includes black and silver down tube stops .

Aaron, I think you are off on the Delta's and the hubs, but eBay is the true test of value. The levers can easily be made 10 speed, and would go higher, as well.
A single C-Record drive side NOS crank (no rings) have sold for $250/shipped. It's all a matter of who is willing to pay. A friend recently sold a single set of Delta's for $500, and they were used, in VG condition.

I'm just going off of my experiences...and I had two sets of deltas, both in excellent condition, a half step from NOS...with covers...and I got about $215 per set...with good photos and international bidders. I could be totally off and maybe his asking price is fair.

Aaron, who knows? The market is fickle these days. It takes two to make an auction, and timing is everything, I have always found that components do better in Feb-March. Most folks aren't looking right now, at least in my experience.

Based on my own experiences with the Serotta forum, unless you're giving stuff away, it won't move too fast - if at all.
