So sometimes my craziness pays off, other times it looks terrible
So I am rehabin a Ketrel 4000. I was thinking of matching the colors in the "k" on the downtube.
I think it will look better in real life than my terrible MS Paint skills show, but that do you guys think.

Looks fine to me...If you really want to mimic it you can go red front tire, green rear, yellow saddle, black tape!

Some like it that way, some liken it to technicolor vomit.
Figure it as a win-win situation. If people like it, fine. If they don't, you've given them something to feel superior about.
Personally I like a change. With the new Madones and Specialized bikes going in for a lot of black and white, it's nice to shake things up.
You probably aren't the only one with a yen for a little color. Go for it.

Woof. Just "a tad" bright for my taste. Never did get into the "colored tire" thing, but then I'm too old to have been a bmx'er, and got fixies out of my system long before they became hip.
