Bar tape: Brown

Looking for a brown bar tape ( UK )

Brooks is expensive and looks kind of odd. But apart from charge bar tape, can't find any other in brown.
Any other choices available ?

Many thanks in advance.

Soma's "Thick and zesty" comes in a good looking brown.

I recently picked up something that looks more like cork, I believe it was from Serfas, and I picked it up locally.

I bought blue cloth bar tape and used a super heavy coat of amber shellac (I think it was 6-7+ layers), and it turned a nice chocolate brown. After a few hundred miles, it started fading in really nicely, and was wearing through into the blue. Really a nice effect.

I just bought some Origin8 brown for my Free Spirit, it's a little bright, but it's super comfy cork. AND it was $8

That's a beautiful bike by the way.

Tape looks great.

I know Fizik sells a "brown" in the UK as well.

I have several boxes myself, and will be using it on a build this spring.

Velo Orange sells several different types. Don't know what it would cost to ship to the UK, but worth a peek:

There is a very nice Fizik brown that has a Brooks type look (I think better). But I have not yet found it available in the US.

I bought a package of that Origin8 tape a year ago. On the box somewhere it said that the product had ingredients that were known to cause cancer or something. I took it back. Maybe they've changed it in the meantime.

Torelli leatherette looks and feels like real leather. It is ~$15. Might be worth looking for:

I may be ordering from Wiggle shortly and will have free shipping if I do...if anyone if really interested in the tape and wants to pay $2, or $5 or whatever it takes to ship it to you afterwards I would be happy to do it...doesn't seem worth it to me...but...I've done crazier things before!
