Kind of OT, but can anyone ID this?
This may not belong 100% in this forum but it is vintage and its 1/2 bicycle, so it's close enough. I just thought maybe someone had encountered something like this in their travels.
Can anyone tell me what it is? Motorized scooter/bicycle hybrid I know(or think I know), but I'm looking for tips on what brand it is or at least another hybrid that is similar to it. This one is pretty rough and would take a ton of work to redo, but I think it would be pretty unusual to have something like this. It's been sitting underneath a car for at least 15+ years along with a pile of vintage motorcycles, so i decided to give it one more chance at life. Thanks for any advice.

And for a good reason. It looks like the Puch I crashed 20 years ago.

It is a Angel Moped. I have a link to one that has had the rear rack section cut off and the rear shock has been moved forward but if you compare them side by side you will see that everything is the same. The seat that is on yours has the name right on the back. I think finding parts will be very hard.

Yeah, but remember here in Jersey you would need the title to get it registered,it can be hard to get a title if it doesn't have one or cost more then what it's worth to get it. Batavus mopeds are also slow, but if it's clean and has a title you might get a good amount for it, I had one I paid $50 for and put another 50 bucks in it and sold it for $700 as a rider.

I never had any intentions of fixing this one since it is so rough. Also, I don't want to mess with getting a title and insurance and the like even if it was in mint condition, so I've begun plans on how to cut it apart and make it into a bicycle. I just really like the frame structure. As it sits it only weighs about 75 lbs and I believe that I can get it down much further. Only issue I can forsee is the 21" tires. I'm hoping I can fit some 24" mtb wheels on it. I know the spacing is off but that's what saws and welders are for. I need a winter project anyway. Now I'm talking custom bikes so I'm way OT, so I'll leave it at this.
Thanks for the replies.
