Gachon bike and Quebec cycling history

Great website pics. It really was an amazing time for cycling in Canada. As much as I love Steve Bauer, I wouldn't rank his accomplishments over Torchy Peden's. I'm also hoping that Ryder Hesjerdal is next.
The Gachon looks like a roadster converted to racer. Sweet lugs and graphics!

I agree with T-Mar. Looks like the bike was designed to work with smaller wheels. And the fork is buh buh buh ... uh, nice graphics!

oh man, a friend of mine here in MTL was talking about getting one of these from craigslist. It had similar paint but apparently had track ends. I'll ask him about it.
