Condition-wise, that Voyageur is a pretty good match for my Bianchi (i.e. needs paint) but the latter is a 55 cm frame.

Have you got any pics? I scrolled back but didn't see any...I've got a lot of the stuff off of it left if you're interested in a parts swap as well.

Anyway, I'm looking for a frameset in the 54-56cm range. Race oriented, all materials eligible, all offers considered. I have lot's of high end goodies to add if there is considerable value difference. Don't worry about the fit of this frame, it's standard enough, but 90% of stock frames don't fit me. I should be able to figure out if a frame you offer will fit me with a little research, so don't hesitate to inquire.

Great idea. I have to offer an old Gitane TDF frame with a bent fork steer tube. Can be fix but you would have to most likely cut the old one off, reamed out and replaced with another french (or not) stem from another old fork. It's a small frame around a 52cm measured from center to center of top tube

Has the old Huret honey comb rear dropouts. Don't worry about the color, for the most part its been sanded down and better yet was painted by the previous owner with cans of spray paint so brake cleaner does a good job of removing. Does come with the fork which is chrome on the lower ends. mcrane428@msn.com

I want to trade this 1983 Peugeot P6 for a bike that fits me better of equal value. This bike's seat to measures 54cm (from the center of the BB to to the top of the seat tube. I am looking for a bike that is 56cm (preferably another French bike). The bike unfortunately has a bent fork, but everything else is in good shape.

1989 Bianchi Strada LX. Bike will include seat, seatpost, stem, bars, celeste cage, brake levers, calipers and pads. Will not include the pictured wheels and cranks*. Frame is in good shape, there is a little rust on the outside of the cups on the steer tube, and a small amount of surface rust between the seat stays. I believe the bike to be a 62cm.

I'm looking to trade for something of equivalent quality in about a 56cm. I prefer Italian bikes, but would be open to anything. Bikes that came with 700c wheels are preferred, but if anyone has a decent Masi or Motobecane I would be happy to work something out!

*Those wheels/crank are only on the bike for storage purposes. The bike was never ridden as a fixed gear and all braze ons are still present. I'll need to check my parts box, and if I still have the original suntour downtube shifters those will be included as well.

I don't have anything that I want to trade, except possibly a 63 cm Jeunet R531 frame, light for a large frame, but in poor cosmetic shape (but no real damage!) You can see it here.

I'm looking for a double-butted road frame with fender eyelets, size 54-56 C/T. I guess I'd also take a Raleigh Super Course, or a Trek, something with 531 frame tubes in other words. It's for a "fenders bike" for my wife.

i've got this Gios Torino i'd like to trade up in size. Columbus SL, drilled rear drop outs, beautiful lug work, yummy.

it is marked as a 58, but actually measurements are:

ST 56.5 C to C
ST 57 C to T

TT 55 C to C

stand over height is 32-32.5 inches on 700c/23 wheels/tires

the sad part is i've spent some time collecting a full panto group while sorting things out (building a wheelset and finding the right spindle width-crank combination), and now it's just too small.

i need something in a 59-60 (or 61 if it be a Gios), open to other fine italian frames (Colnago, Bianchi, you name it), but i'd most want to find another Gios, or let me know what you've got :) a little beat up is fine

frame is in excellent condition. paint has a few scrapes and chips, namely the spot by the drive side shifter where the caliper hit it at one time and the previous owner didn't take care of it. frame was repainted at some point by Betsy (reportedly JP Weigle's ex wife who use to paint his frames). the paint job is equal to or better than most any factory work. the main decals are 99% intact and do not appear to be repros, Columbus decals on fork blades are definitely not in the original placement, the wreath decal (remnants on top tube) should be on the fork.

absolutely no dents or dings, all threads are 100% intact and solid, no rust to inside of tubes, only minor surface rust on drop outs and chip by shifter.

Also, upon closer inspection the frame is missing the under-BB cable guide. A Shimano branded one is available for like $3 online. Other than that the braze-ons are 100% intact. The frame will include the pictured white brake cable housings/cables.

Really nice Guerciotti in extra small size, far too small for me. I refuse to let some kid turn it into a hipster fixie. I'd prefer to trade for 53-55cm c-c, Campy parts, or whatever. I think it's an early '70's frame, was probably repainted in late '80's with whole set of modern braze-ons added. The headtube was nicely masked off and preserved, and rest of bike resprayed with eye-shocking neon fade typical of the era. I added the set of reproduction decals from the guy in Australia.

The headtube badge and frame cutouts are identical to those on CRV "Early '70's" Guerciotti. They predate the whole "Star" logo.

The lugwork is outstanding. Every lug has a cutout of some kind, and points nicely filed down. This is my 6th Guerciotti, and my 3rd one currently. The workmanship on this one is the nicest that I've seen. Campy dropouts, SLX spirals in steerer tube, 27.2 seat tube, so no doubt Columbus SL tubing. Spacing 120mm but can no doubt be spread to modern 130mm.

Repaint is excellent. Looks like it was barely ridden post-repaint.

I'd trade for something 52-55cm c-c. Frame only, or partial or whole bike. The 53cm OCLV Trek above this one looks nice!

Hi folks,

Looking to trade a Miyata 1000 in great shape for something racier. based to the Shimano component dates, I'd call this one a 1985.

Toptube measures 56cm CTC, seattube is 55cm CTC, and 57cm CTT, and Headtube length is 140mm. It has braze-one for the following: 3 water bottle cages (ST, DT, bottom of DT), Fender bosses on the brake bridge and chainstay bridge, as well as on the dropouts, front and rear. It also has rack mounts, both on the seatstays and dropouts. The fork has double eyelets, as well as lowrider rack mounts. There is a chainslap guard braze-on as well, and a chain peg on the drive-side seatstay. There is also a pump peg on the headtube, and grommeted internal cable routing for lights/dynamo.

It is available for trade with the current parts kit, which is a mix of shimano 600 (6200 series i think), Deer's head Deore, and first-gen cantilevers. The BB has been replaced with a shimano sealed bearing unit, but everything else is original to my knowledge. Wheelset is Ukai 25mm rims, 36h front, 40h rear, laced to Sansin sealed bearing freewheel hubs.

If you'd prefer bare frame & fork, that is also an option.

For a trade, I'm looking for something racy in a 53-54cm CTC square frame, preferably a Merckx. I'd also be very interested in high end Italians. If you have something else interesting, don't hesitate to offer.

It's currently sitting without cables and bar wrap, although I have both ready to mount.

Hey don't tell me that or my good sense may get the better of me. 55 CTC is probably on the larger end for me, but I also realize that I've been drastically undersizing my entire stable for a few years now (I own a 2 53's, a 52, and 2 51.5 bikes, and I think I ride a 54-55).
