I have been hanging onto this 60cm 1989 Trek 1500 but it's really just too big for me. My sweet spot is 56/57 so if anybody wants to trade this frame for something decent let me know.
http://i1107.photobucket.com/albums/...0/502421b0.jpg More pictures here! You can see in the pictures that it has a fair amount of knicks and chips but the frame is straight and good. I'm looking for something comparable from steel or aluminum. Heck, a touring frame would be a dream come through... |
If you've ever wanted a Supercourse in a 59cm seat tube, I just put one up for trade. It's full of Nervex lugs! Bike is pretty beat, but could look pretty good if repainted. Looking for something in a 50-51 size range, preferably in ISO threading.
(entire bike is the same condition - sorry about lack of full size picture) http://i.imgur.com/oBV8D.jpg |
Alright..just throwing it out there...73' Raleigh International (Carlton made) Carpella lugs, 56.5cm, needs paint and decals,

Cool. How do you rate the AD, I know mine is a lower level Inter-10, and really too big for me to comfortably ride. Probably doesn't quite rate up to the International either. It is definitely in the C & V group, it's the only one I've seen. Such a big beast though, may be hard to move it.

It will def. be hard to get rid of that frame, i tried to sell mine months ago and gave up because it is really a great bike but it is tall, also not many riders know about these bikes. Nobody would buy the complete bike for $200 so i just decided to hang on to it longer, bought mine for $100 all original. |

Any interest in a 62cm Schwinn Super Sport frame/fork (the "lovely" 80's pink and white)? Similar shape to your international...

Hey...still got the Bianchi frame? I just posted a Giant Cadex carbon composite in 59 cm if interested. There's another member that has a Campione D' Italia but it's a little fancy for what I want. Do you have any pics of the frame (if you still have it)? By the way...great thread!

No mention of prices, this is a for-trade forum.

Here's pics of the Super Sport. Shimano 600 headset, shimano BB. I'd likely want to keep the shifters (non indexing), but that's negotiable depending on the relative value of the trade. Cat also negotiable. Overall condition is good, but for some surface rusting on the cable surfaces on the top of the frame. There is some sticker tack and paint/rust touch up work needed (though I wouldn't clasify this as a repaint sort of frame by any means). Bought by a relative with intent to have me build it up for them, but too large for either of us upon further inspection.
Need a 55-58 cm frame (if on the higher side of that range, with a shorter top tube). Desire something steel... Also still have the fuji touring series 3 and nishiki altron available (see earlier posts). http://bikeforums.net/attachment.php...hmentid=237531http://bikeforums.net/attachment.php...hmentid=237532http://bikeforums.net/attachment.php...hmentid=237533 |

I have a Mongoose Omega Touring Frame - it's not a Walmart bike :D
It's a 53cm frame with a 1" headset and Tange Super-lite tubing. It has canti and downtube mounts as well as three bottle cage mounts. I'm looking for something similar to use as a commuter but between 55 and a 58 http://bikeforums.net/attachment.php...hmentid=237650http://bikeforums.net/attachment.php...hmentid=237651http://bikeforums.net/attachment.php...hmentid=237652 |
Chrome Molly, I have a red Shogun frame. Long seat tube, short TT 61 or 2 x 54.

Have a few bikes i'm considering parting out and doing a trade frame for frame.
#Raleigh International Carlton made. 1973, Needs new paint, 57cm, Too small for me. 531 tubing #Univega Gran Premio, Tange Champion tubing, 62cm, few scratches but nothing too noticeable. 79' i believe, it's an early one. #Austro Daimler AD-SL, 76' 3 tube reynolds 531, 63cm, one of my favorite bikes. #Peugeot Competition PKN10, 1980, not sure if it's 3 tube or full reynolds 531, Beautiful paint and condition 63 or 64cm, It feels a lot smaller then it actually is I'm not 100% sure if i want to part with all of the frames but if i like your offer i will definitely consider it. I'm mainly trying to get rid of the Raleigh since it is a tad bit too small. I really want a Carlton, Atala, Bottecchia, Bianchi. PM me if you want pics or more info! Edit: Looking for a 62 or 60cm frame |
58cm Univega Sportour sky blue. Don't know the year. Rust free, some scrapes.

Interested in trading my full 23"/21" 1990 Schiwnn Duosport tandem for something a little smaller. 21"/21" would be ideal, but I'm not going to find that except by going custom.

Offering the fuji as a bare frame, and the cannondale as a frame fork. Looking for something steel in the 55-58 range. Both are very small frames (fuji measures 18.5in CtC). PM if interested and I'll provide any other measurements needed. UPDATE - BOTH GONE |
Also, the SuperSport frame is gone.
