I have a Nishiki low-end chrome-moly frame in 66cm. It is completely stripped down. This would be a good beater bike. It is chrome-moly, but it's not light.

Hmm, I better check the measurement. It might be 68cm. Anyway, it's either 26 or 27 inches along the seat tube.

I think it's 59cm. Will check. It's a 1984, with 445mm chainstays and canti studs mounted for 630 wheels. What's your zip code?

I'm looking for a 62cm tt so the Trek would most likely be too small. And I just measured the Giant and it turns out it's 58x58 instead of 56.

I'm in Montreal but I go down to VT (05476) often enough that I can send/receive from there.

Yes, it's not a particularly long-top-tubed frame.

Hi dweenk, sorry for the delay I am in the middle of moving and have had intermittent internet access. PM sent!

The Fuji has a 21" seat tube, double-butted chrome-moly frame and no braze-ons. The frame was chrome plated and then painted over leaving some chrome exposed. It does have lots of surface rust, and the chrome is pitted. I remember drooling over one back in 1972, when all I could afford was the S-10-S. Anyway, I rescued this one several months ago from a flipper.

The Jamis has an 18" seat tube, but being a MTB, sits a bit larger. The frame is chrome-moly, and the paint is not bad. The right chainstay has some rust due to chain slap I suppose. It has a chainstay mounted rear brake, and a shoulder pad for portaging.

Thanks for the reply.

Thanks for the heads up, I'd be all over that if it were local. Otherwise it's too much of a hassle for a low end hi-ten frame.

Pedaltraveler,

I've got the brakes, levers, cranks, and a few other parts for the Jamis if that helps. I can't PM until my post count increases, so you can email me at dweenk@yahoo.com.

Looking for similar in 59 or 60 cm, 58cm may work too
I have that same Trek and immediately recognized that frame like first glance. Great bike!

I have a Mangusta Aluminum/Steel thermally bonded frame (pink fade to clear) that is a bit too large for me (25"). I can't do photos right now, but will do so after Thanksgiving. I prefer something around 23".

I have a Red 58cm 1990ish Lemond in Colubuse TSX I would trade for any color Lemond TSX 54-56cm. Bike is a rider with scratches etc but no damage. Would also consider trades for other comparable 54-56cm TSX frames

I would like to find a good home for this John J. Hollands that I acquired a few weeks ago. It is built from Columbus EL tubing, has Columbus dropouts, internal cable routing, integrated cable routing in the BB shell, extended head tube, fast back seat stays. It does have various paint chips and scrapes but no dings or dents. It is a 650c. I contacted John about this frameset and this is the majority of his response...........

"Glad to read you've rescued the frameset! It was delivered on 5/3/97 to a female customer who lived at the time in Washington D.C.and who intended to use it for light touring and commuting. It was sold as a complete bicycle equipped with a mix of Shimano Dura Ace and XTR components for a road triple configuration. She measured five feet ,one inch tall and weighed one hundred pounds. The frame was built from Columbus EL standard dimension tubing and I fitted an Aegis carbon fiber fork. It was painted with PPG DU45729 Forest Green Poly paint. The seat tube dimension is 46cm c-c, top tube is 50cm, seat angle is 73 degrees, head angle is 72 1/2 degrees, bottom bracket ht with 23mm tires is 26cm, chainstay length is 38cm and the head tube extension is 3cm."

I ride a 53cm and I could be interested in a touring bike/frame or a Merckx/Falcon

I've got this for your consideration; a 1980's Marinoni frame and fork. The chrome on the chainstay and fork are beautiful. The frame has patina (fancy for some chips and scratches) but absolutely no dings, dents, or rust. I'll take pics of the BB so you Marinoni fans can determine the age, and can take close ups once I've cleaned up the frame. I wanted to throw it up here and see if there is any interest. I'll also measure the tubes. Columbus tubing, Campy drop-outs, braze on front der, Italian threaded BB, 27.2 seatpost, and Italian headset. Spacing is 126mm, and the BB is stamped 57, although it sure looks bigger to me.

I'd be interested in frames in the 51-54cm range, including Masi, Merckx, Colnago, DeRosa, Fuso, or other interesting, steel brands. I'm also looking for c-record parts, deltas, a clean rider condition SR or NR group......

pic of complete bike is for reference only. The frame and chrome fork are what's available.
