I have a 1984 Lotus Excelle and I have no Idea what size it is. I just think its a tad to big for me. I'm 5'6" and the top of the seat post is just a tad bit past my waist. Not sure if that measurement can help you figure out the size. The bike is all original and I was planing on doing a Single Speed conversion. Found this thread and figured I might give it shot to see if someone might have a similar bike just smaller 48cm-52cm.

I bought a tall folk version of my teen years bike on eBay. 1984 Moto Jubilee Sport in Palomino. (Lost it after loaning it out at a kegger party!) Missed it ever since. I was so toked I found one like it I didn't even look at the size!

60 cm and a 5'6" dude isn't very comfortable.

I need a short folk version.

7 on a 1-10 condition scale.

Need a 55 CM or less.

(Just frame) I'm keeping the parts.

I reread this today and the geometry of this Miyata is favorable to a less aggressive bike. Before you trade it away, I would highly suggest swapping the stem out with a Nitto high rise road stem with 70 to 80mm of reach and a Nitto noodle bar for good measure, you may find it changes the ride dramatically for the better. A 56.5 cm TT on a 60 cm frame is about as non aggressive as you can get.

All truth. However, an unexpected project came to me that fits this build idea better since the frame is closer to the right size. So really I'm now looking to swap for something of similar quality but in 54/55cm for the better half.

Huh, I thought the stumpjumper was designed for big curb drops? On my 20 foot test ride to confirm it was too small I did hop one massive curb. All kidding aside it's just the bike is leaned against the wall by left drop + shot angle. Every vintage bike I own seems like it has bent forks when I take pictures. Next nice sunny day I plan to take much better pictures and upload to another site for better viewing.

i have one, pristine 1968 eroba, decals/paint/og bar wrap in excellent condition. I purchased this from the original owner who said it was ridden a handfull of times new then parked. it appears to be a 57cm i'm 6'1 & lanky and prefer a 60 cm, shipping would kinda be a pain if your not local (but hey why not). so which ever way if someones interested i can take parts off or leave them on for a fair trade, hope it finds a nice home.

Bought this 1985 Miyata 610 last fall hoping I could make it fit. I rode it just enough this spring to realize it's too big. It's a 58cm. I would like to trade, frameset or entire bike, for same or equal quality 56cm (willing to kick in a bit extra for a 1000). All original except for the tektro brake cable hangers, no foam on the handlebars, and saddle (the Brooks pictured will stay with me). Presently has 1 1/4 Paselas. When I got the bike it was in very good shape, with original tires that looked to have less than 500 miles on them. I took it completely apart, repacked everything, greased everything with threads, etc. Sorry about the non drive side pic. I can send more pics to anyone who is interested.

I have 1987 Trek 520 60cm in 9 out of 10 condition, all original minus the cinelli stem that I swapped out for nitto technomic. The frame is just a tad too small. Looking to build out a dedicated touring frame size 63cm (25.5in). Would also trade my 1981 Schwinn Super Sport 63cm (Japan) with all original parts, swapped out the old Cyclone Suntour for a new period correct Cyclone Suntour I found at open shop.

Looking to trade either for something similar to the following:

So I am mostly a lurker but do occasionally post and have decided to put this out there. I have a Bridgestone xo-2 frameset that measures seat tube- "16 c-t, top tube "20 c-c. It is in rough shape with many scratches and some surface rust. To me this is the perfect candidate for a sandblast and powdercoat or a decent quality beater if left as is. Powder coating was my plan before I realized exactly how small this frame was. I will also throw in the original fork, complete cockpit, super short seatpost and headset.

What I would like to get in exchange is an 18" mountain bike frameset. This could be any brand but with a few limitations- Must have clearance for 2.25 or larger tires, and be made of steel. Preferably rigid fork too.

i live in Leesburg, Fl and would prefer to just swap with some one local within 30miles or so. I would ship if necessary but I think it would take most of the value out of the deal. If there are any other questions let me know.

Hello, new here; hopefully I'm doing this right. I have the bikes/frames below:



Early 80's Raleigh Super Record. BIG bike; 67cm center to center. Complete with almost original Raleigh/Suntour components. Would need very little if anything to be a reliable rider.



Late 1970s Japanese Schwinn frame (1977 Volare, I think?). 63cm top to center. Clean shape. Frame with Dura-Ace headset only; will probably be keeping the crank and bb.

I would like to trade either for similar quality framesets or complete bikes somewhere between 50cm-58cm (looking for one for my wife and myself, hence the wide size range). I love both of these bikes, but they're too large for me to swing a leg over, much less ride. I'd trade two for one if it was just what I'm looking for. Located in SE Missouri area, but I'm not afraid to ship them. More pics are available upon request.

I have a 51 cm c-c Trek 560 frame in Reynolds 501. The frame was chased, faced and DO's aligned by a local frame-maker when I did a build on it. All original purple paint and yellow decals with some patina, but touched up and clear coated with acrylic. Looking for similar value in 56 c-c. Lots of pics if interested.
