I have a Schwinn Cimarron LE that is just too tall for me. 58 ctc. TT by 54 ctc ST. No dents or rust. Storage and chain rub marks as shown in pics. Over all paint looks good. Comes with frame, fork, tange head set, and kalloy seat post.
Looking for a road frame 55 or 56 TT/ST ctc. Late 60's or 70's, patina O.K. Can supplement if there is a trade imbalance. No gas pipe. Oui on French.

I have this Mongoose Pro from the late 80s. It was their top of the line frame. Would make a great dirt drop conversion. I'll have to check on measurements but I'm pretty sure it is a 17" but will confirm tonight. Used, paint is fair...lots of scratches and nicks but no dents.
I have many other photos. Looking to trade up...both size, similar range of tubing and condition and can make up the difference if necessary.
Looking for an upright 26" wheel frame for my 62 year old father. He is 6' and a 21"+ mtb frame with less aggressive upright flat bar geometry would be ideal.
I am looking for a road 60cm c-c frame with a shorter top tube...58 or less. I want to replace my super course frame so something 531 would be great. Threading is flexible.

I have a mid to late '80s Pinarello Montello that I am looking to pass on. My plan was to break it down, rehab it and sell it as a complete bike. I started to think that I may just want to sell it as a frameset (frame and fork) or possibly make a trade. I still haven't decided for sure but I thought I would put it on this thread and see what happens. It is 55cm square with Columbus SLX tubes. The paint and chrome are in very good condition but like most Pinarellos the decals are shot. Velocals has replacements for $40. I am looking to trade for something comparable, preferably Italian and around 61-62 cm. Let me know what you have.

This is a large sized frame and is to large for me. It is 4130, some paint chips but no dents, dings or rust.
I am looking for another steel frame, size medium / 54 cm to 56 cm. Wheel size or brand is not important. I am interested in either road or mountain.

It appears the email response I sent may not have come through to you. Working on a deal with it and will let you know if it doesn't work out.

Barn find pre-Canadian Sekine. Looks like it was purchased from a shop in suburban Chicago about 25 miles from where it ended up, so a pretty rare bird for these parts. Size is 23", a hair too small for me.
Randy Jawa has a picture of a similar one on his website. He says its a Japan made 71 Sekine GS, so we'll go with that. It was covered in 35 years of gunk, but cleaned up surprisingly well. I doubt it was used much, components look almost pristine. Very nice parts selection and great paint on a seemingly mundane frame.
Weinmann 27" x 1 1/4" alloy rims, Sanshin high flange alloy hubs, nicely made Dia Compe brakes, Sugino Maxy cranks with steel rock ring, nice Suntour downtube shifters, Suntour Spirt front der, Suntour V rear der, shorty fenders, KOBA Japan rear rack, funky quick release stem collar, SR stem, Sakae Road Champion bars. Only non-Japanese part besides the rims is the Soubitez front/rear light set. Tires are a crunchy mess, so I didn't ride it.
Looking for something in the 24" to 25" range, preferably with eyelets for a rack and fenders. A good mid to late 80s frame works too. I am in the far western suburbs of Chicago.

I have a 1982 Medici Gran Tourismo that was custom built for a guy much taller then me. I'd like the keep the components and swap frames with something of equal value and age but smaller. The frame is a 64cm. I am guessing I would need something around the 58-59cm range for I'm about 5' 9.5" . The frame is black chrome and I have all the original Medici decals. Ideally, i'd love the exact same frame but smaller.
I'm a fan of all things old/vintage and functional so a 70's or 80's frame with equal build quality and weight might do the trick (braised tubes are a must).

Yeah, that's pretty much how it works. I've always assumed that someone who has been hanging around these parts for a minimum of a few hundred posts is probably trustworthy.

No bites on this 1999 Lemond Buenos Aires as a complete bike, so here it is as a frameset. Buenos Aires 57cm frameset in good shape. No dents that I can find, I did clean up a couple of small spots of rust under the TT and touched them up with Rustoleum in the closest yellow I could find. Usual small marks from use, including mark where the front derailleur band sat. According to Trek, Fisher, Klein, Lemond bike catalogs, bicycle brochures it's Reynolds 825 main triangle with Reynolds 725 stays and an Icon carbon fork. Dimensions are ST c-t-c 570mm, TT c-t-c 575mm. This will make a great buildup for someone, it's just too tall and long for me.
Willing to trade for anything that catches my eye. Road or touring frame in 55x55 or thereabouts, chromoly MTB frame around 17-18", '90's Campy parts, just hit me up.
Cheers,
Kevin

Both sound interesting. Do you have pics? I'll check online for geometries tomorrow when I get to work.

Snap pics tomorrow when light and weather are better, unless I have too much fun at the MTB Hawaiian shirt race and luau.

If you don't mind, send pics and TT lengths anyway. That comes out to 51cm, well within reason if the TT isn't too long. Looking at the online photos, they are both fairly upright riding positions. I don't have enough posts for PM, but my email is maineguide11@yahoo.com.
