I sure would like to trade this 86 Miyata 710 48cm c-c st, 54cm c-c tt no issues frame for something similar in 54 or 56 st.
I'd like to do a 650b conversion, so a frame made for 700c would be preferred.
I'm in Texas near Houston.

I have a 1985 56cm Trek 400. You can tell from the stem in the attached pick that I need a bike with a taller headtube. I have long legs and relatively shorter torso, so I need to keep the top tube no longer than 58cm and probably even better in the 57 to 57.5 range. My saddle height is about 80cm, which would translate into a frame size of 61-62. Anyone have a big frame with a relatively shorter top tube? The picture below is bigger if you click on it.

Hello Shane,
I still have ths large 1985 Trek 420. Are you in the North East?

I have a complete 1984 Trek 420 with a 25.5 C-T seat tube frame. It was abandoned in our building and needs complete rebuild but it is in pretty good shape. All original and looks low mileage. The paint is the dark metallic blue with only a few scratches. Everything very straight. With new tires / chain / hoods and tape it would be a pretty bike, just too big for me.

Looking for something similar year / quality / condition in the ~20 - 22 inch range straight swap complete or Trek 420 frame only.

I have a Pinarello Montello full bike that fits your description. It is in the chromonero color and has a Full Sram 2010 group with shimano ultegra wheel set. It is absolutely head-turning gorgeous and available.

Trade for decent frame and fork from a 43-58. 43 fits my wife and I have friends of all sizes in between for the rest.

I love the colors. Good luck with that. I bet the next owner will be really happy.

I would love to trade my Trek 400 in 56cm in the same color scheme. See above. I sent you an email, but it apparently didn't make it.

Rsharp,

I'm in Texas. I might be interested in a frame swap if I can't get the Trek 400 above. Can you tell me the serial number of the Trek 420, so I can look up the exact size? Thanks.

Rob, Because I am a junior member, I cannot send PMs. I sent an email to: RobvanI-81@hotmail.com. Should that work? Thanks.

Its time to come to a realization of the truth. I need a 24 inch frame. I am looking to trade my 23 inch frame 1972 Paramount (repainted red in 77 at Schwinn) for a 24 inch frame. Color doesn't matter. As a matter of fact paint doesn't matter. As long as the Chrome looks good Im good with that. I am sending it to get repainted Campus Green.

The bike has to be of similar year and be ready for my regular reach campagnolo brakes. Let me know if you are interested.

I have a 52 or 54 cm Miyata 610. I believe it is a 1981 model as it does not have cantilever brakes, instead it has DiaCompe center pulls. I have tried everything to make it work for my height, but I have to admit that it really is too short for me. I would trade the entire bike or just the frame for another quality tourer in a 56 or 58cm. I am in the philadelphia area and would be able to deliver the bike locally. PM me if interested and I will take pics and send them along.

RobE30 05-06-13 06:25 PM

Would a 60cm frame work for you?

Have: 1983 Trek 500 22" (56cm) frame set.

Want: large 61 - 63cm touring frame Miyata 610, 1000, Voyageur, Raleigh Alyeska, Lotus, Fuji America, Univega etc. with cantis. Or some large vintage Trek, with longish chain stays? Large mid-late 80s Schwinn? Also possible trade for LARGE early lite MTB frame for conversion to drop-bar touring rig.

Prefer paint in excellent condition (like my Trek), but what have you got?

Colnago Dream frameset up for grabs. I believe it is 60cm but will have to check to be sure. Can come as just frame and fork or with dura headset (The other components on it are also available; campy record calipers, mirage brake/shift combo, american classic seatpost, dura ace bb and cranks) Looking for dura ace or sram group, light high quality wheelset or litespeed (or other titanium) frame around 58-59. Thanks!

I don't have any three speed parts, but can get great beer from the Portsmouth Brewing Company.
Pale Ale is fantastic.

Looking to trade my 57cm 94 RB1 frame for something in the 58-60 c-t range. There is a small dent in the top tube as is evident in the pictures, and it has had some touch up done on the fork, heat tube, and stays. There is no rust evident.

Looking something of similar quality and prefer aggressive/road geometry. I already have more sport touring frames than I need. That being said a pre 78 Super Course is something I have always wanted.

Its in a semi built (need handlebars) state in my basement. That said, I would like to get the frame to a new owner.

After a nice weekend "tour" with some of my training buddies, I want a touring bike more than ever! So I'm looking to trade my 58cm 87 Kestrel 200sc frame/fork/headset for a 58cm touring frameset.

Not C&V, but C&V inspired. Velo Orange Polyvalent MK I in what VO calls a size 54 (which actually has a 56cm ST (c-t) and TT); geometry here: http://velo-orange.blogspot.com/2009...tube-incl.html

Looking for a nice C&V frame in my size (60-62cm ST x 58cm HT).

Please do not mention cash here. This is a ISO/trade only thread.
