OK folks, I'll give this a try. I've got a 1971 Schwinn Super Sport, all restored and ready to ride, but it's too big for me. The frame is a 24" size. I'd like to trade just the frame for a 22" one in fair to good shape. I'd like to keep all the components, just trade frames. Kool Lemon Yellow would be my first choice of colors, as that is the color of the one I have. New England would be great, I could do all the traveling. Here is the bike as it sits now. Anyone?

I have a couple of rigid chromoly mountain bike frames that are too small for me.

the first (pictured below) is a mid 90's Raleigh M-50. 42cm seat tube, 52 top tube.

the second is a red Schwinn sierra from 1987. 55st 62tt. seems to be chromed underneath the paint.

Looking for larger MTB frame. 23 in, maybe 24. or 60-62cm road bike frame.

Anyone interested in my 62 cm Miyata 912 frame (in generally excellent condition, couple of minor rust bubbles on one of the top-tube cable guides)? I'm looking for a nice older Trek of comparable age and quality. Shipping frames is a pain, so bonus points to anyone in the greater New England area. Frame is an 86, I think. The paint job is what Miyata called "sterling black" with a--yes--pink head tube. I can put up some photos if there's any interest.

Interested in trading my full 23"/21" 1990 Schiwnn Duosport tandem for either a smaller tandem or two road bikes 54 and 52cm (or mtn bikes with dirt drops, yeah right I know).

I've got other goodies, of course. Prefer local since shipping a tandem would be rough. Pm me!

I really hate to admit that my Bob Jackson is too small for me, but it is. I really love this frame, so I'm going to give it a shot and see if someone has a larger Bob Jackson they'd be open to trade me for. This frame is ca. early 1980's and measures 57cm on the seat tube, c-c; 56 cm on the top tube, c-c. I have lots of photos of this bike built up in my Flickr galleries here. I'm looking for a Bob Jackson that measures 60-61cm c-c on the seat tube. I know it's a long shot, but I hate not riding this bike.

Have: Marin San Rafael (?) Cross / Hybrid / Commuter frame 23" or 58cm effective C-C
Want: 52-55cm anything decent

I bought this frame to build a townie - commuter, but once I built it up I found it was far huger than I expected. I bought it on Craigslist for $75, but it's really a nice frame with 7000 series Aluminum frame, etc. Fork is kind of light duty suspension, but seems to rebound nicely. Frame was entirely stripped of paint, then put light clearcoat to protect from tarnishing. 1-1/8 threaded fork. "Marin" headset is smooth.

Will trade for 52-55cm road frame, or decent-quality parts. It is packed for shipping already.
New user / long time lurker. Please include contact info in your PMs, since I can't PM back.

'86 Miyata 710. It's 48cm c-c I'd like to trade something similar in a 52-53. Original bits can be included, depending on the bits traded.
A Houston trade would be ideal.

I have a 21 inch miyata 610 touring bike. I'm fairly certain it's the 1984 model. I'll try to get some pictures soon.

I'd like a 23 inch touring frame. Let me know what you have.

I have extra parts that I will put on the frame, so I don't need any components, so frame for frame is ideal. But I don't mind trading the parts with the 610 either.

I have three frames that don't fit me:

1) 1986 Peugeot PY10-FC, 57cm. One of my grail bikes, so it was my main ride for two years, but I have finally admitted it is just a *little* too big.

2) 1978 Trek TX700, 53cm. Blue, Reynolds 531 frame and fork, Campagnolo dropouts front and rear, cool vintage early Trek.

3) 1986 Raleigh Olympic, 64cm. Large bike that I love the look of, even if it is way too big for me to ever ride :/

Sorry for the terrible photos, I was just out in the garage wrenching and on a whim thought I would put these bikes up in the for trade thread, so they are pretty hasty shots. I can snap better detail shots if anyone is interested.

I am looking for frames in the 54-56cm range. Interested in all sorts of road frames, track frames, cyclocross frames, and even tandems.

Hello,

I own a 1982 Fuji Supreme in the burgundy color. The size is 19", and it is just a hair small for me.

Unfortunately, I don't have any pictures at the time, as the bike is at a friends house, but it has the usual nicks and scratches an older frame has. Here is a picture of the catalog: https://classicfuji.com/1982_18_Supre...remeL_Page.htm

Does anyone have a similar Fuji frame in a 21" or 53-54cm?

I am open to trading straight-up or, if you want to trade a frame that is of higher quality, I could use paypal along with the trade, as well.

I ride a 52cm bike, looking for anything comparable, and I could kick in some extras for the right frame. A CX frame especially.

59 cm Trek 2000 frameset.

43 cm Cannondale ST400. This size ain't even in the catalog, don't miss your chance to own one of the only bikes this small I've ever seen that's designed for 700c wheels.

Robertofergy, any more detailed pictures of the bike? I am also wondering what is the length of the top tube c-c?
Thank you

Long shot here, I have a 72/73 Raleigh Super Course frameset at 59cm in fairly rough shape that I'd like to trade for something like 54-57cm preferably 72/73 Raleigh Super Course frameset in rough shape. Pics to come.

I was hoping to sell this, but a trade might be interesting too. It's a 1984 or so Rossin Record f/f/hs, 57cm.

I ride a 60-64cm, and would like my next bike to have a quality lugged steel frame with 126mm rear spacing. Would be looking for something on the light/aggressive side.

Here's my ad with more info: https://www.bikeforums.net/showthread...set-w-Campy-HS

And here's what it looks like built up:

1984 Trek 760, 60cm size. Fork and frame. Pretty good condition, the paint has some chips.
Way too tall for me. Looking for something Italian. +for chrome. +for red. Something in a 54 +/- a few cm.

Got this almost NOS Van Tuyl and it's too small. Looking for something similar or nicer (plus cash) in a 61ish sized frame.

Van Tuyl:
Late eighths, early ninetys, Columbus TSX, Top Tube: 57cm, Seat Tube 58.5cm.

Here are more pics until I figure out how to link them...
