Question about club fuji

Hi all I'm working on a club fuji and I think the year is 93. I know it doesn't count as a c&V but was wondering if anyone knew the size of the seat post. Thanks.

the seat post in it is currently black im looking to buy a new silver one. Just don't know what size to buy. I don't have calipers to make an accurate measurement.

I think a club fuji would be more like a 26.6 or 26.8. the '84 Pro I had was one of the two.

as Bill suggested get some calipers, the digital ones at Harbor are OK, or head to your LBS with post and frame in hand

OP said it was a '93, were they still using 26.6 or 26.8 then?

Does it look like this one? You could ask him, or the person that got the frame from him.

My rather similar looking Team takes a 27.0. So does my Touring Series VII oddly enough.

EDIT Never mind, you were the recipient. The post isn't labeled? There should be text below the minimum insertion point, just clean it thoroughly.

i looked for it on the seat post below the minimum insertion but it's scratched there. I think I'll just buy a 27mm post. Hopefully the 0.2mm (instead of buying 27.2mm) won't be a big deal.

Correct fit is important for the integrity of the seat tube and the bolt area. You received good advice earlier (to bring the frame and post to your local bike shop for a measurement). I would not advise buying any post before you're certain of the correct size.

My '89 Club requires a 26.6mm seatpost, for what it's worth.
