Italian frame identification help!!!!!

So i picked up a "mid 80's gios pista" but i have serious doubts its a gios...

-It has those heart kinda shaped cutouts in all lugs
-Campy Dropouts
-serial number Z 5757935 (marked on dropout)
-NO MARKINGS ON FRAME(other than decals)
-I have never seen a black gios

can someone give me a clue as to what this is?

Does it have the coins on the fork crown? Take some photos of the lugs, etc, but I see no reason to suspect that it is anything other than a Gios Torino. Do you think it is a repaint?

Gios Torino bikes are associated with the colour blue but there are many white ones and red ones and I have seen a black Gios Torino

I just have to say, that is the first time I've seen a bow tie on C&V; and I'm wondering why?

It doesnt have the coins, or any markings on the actual frame whatsoever...it just doesnt match to any other gios and apparently its not a repaint

Not enough details to tell from that side view. The frame number is suspect. Gios and most other Italian makers are famous for No serial numbers.

Look at www.speedbicycles.ch Stefan has a Gios Pista in his collection, so compare there. Gios pista bikes went through a much slower evolution than the road bikes. The Black is not seen by me before, but who knows. The fork and wheel to down tube "look" are close to what Gios was doing, the rear drops less so, but this is without much detail.

Maybe you can find some clues in the Gios Bicycles Flickr Group: http://www.flickr.com/groups/giosbicycles/pool/
