ANY Bridgestone MTB is worth WAAAAAAAAAY more than $50, mate.
I've seen these bikes go for several hundred $$ on E-bay
all the time. SO BUY IT MATE & HURRY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

(Bridgestones cost several hundred $$ new and hold their value like gold)

thank you Tightwad, I forgot to mention that the frame is lugged which I like very much. Also I noticed that it was made in Japan

If the steel is Tange Chromoly its good, may even be a proprietary Ritchey steel.
From what I gather it is a Japanese factory model of a Ritchey traditional geometry frameworks with lugs.

If the bike has this fork, its very sought after.
The bikes are very solid, lack the lightness and agressive design of Ritchey bikes, but were affordable.

If you use the search function, you may come up with other posts concerning Bridgestone.

I believe the nice ones are the MB1 and 2. 18 speed would mean it is fairly old -late 80's??
