Miele Mtb, sort of not really vintage

So I pick up this bike for $25 bucks. Did a dad/daughter project. Its sort of vintage. Its probably 90's bike. I HATE these roller brakes by the bottom bracket. What were they thinking? But anyway, here's a decoupage project we did yesterday. Gonna replace the bars with city bars and get a nice Wald 139 front rack.

Just having fun with 25 buck bike, printouts, Mod Podge. Yah, I know, needs tires Gonna get those Performance Gothams.

Before. Yah, its pink! Pedals were shot, bb was shot. Everything else was a-okay.

Sorry for digging up such an old thread but I was just given a 1993 Miele Mercury mtb frame. It had no bottom bracket. What did you use in this one? Do you remember the size as well?

That's a very creative way to cover the paint job! How did you do it? I don't feel like stripping and repainting this frame. Any help would be appreciated. TIA

Really podge! lol I'd like to know how that holds up actually. I'll get some old newsprint and podge my whole bike up if it'll last. Maybe a clear coat will help. Nobody's gona wana steal it by the time I'm done with it.
