I've had this 84 Alfa Sprint for 20 years. Love my Alfa's and participate in forums with all my car's.

Cool Stuff! I LOVE the Sprint.

I like this, and your screen name! I am a big fan of Jeeps, I have had several over the years. My favorite, besides my CJ5 "Tippy", was my '88 Grand Wagoneer that I restored. Sadly it met head on with a car that blew a tire on the highway in front of me at 75MPH. My 5.9 Limited was it's replacement. It's fast and fun but a huge gas hog!

As for the Delica, it is almost ironic for the van to have that name with all the outback type equipment installed on it. Did you ever have to test that fording snorkel yet?? An exterior roll/bash cage might be a really cool thing to add on to it,.....plus front back and side roof mounted spots.....bumper kangaroo/brush guards,...... Extended mud flaps,....headlight, tail light and window mesh gaurds,.....winch,.....traction rails,.......shovel/pickax/jerrycan mounts,.......a tubular rooftop cargo tray,.....Engine sump bash guards,....Even bigge wheels and tires,..... on and on and on and on......a fun, exciting, never ending project!
Yep the Sprint is considered the baby GTV and always look better bumperless, mine had plastic bumpers and they always warp. The earlier 70's cars had steel bumpers and the body's looked cleaner without them (less holes)

With the Delica I've already done most of those mods, she's far removed from the standard Deli A swing away wheel carrier jerry holder is on the cards at the rear so I don't need a second spare inside. The original air intake use to be under the front guard and got blocked easy on bull dust roads, much cleaner up higher and there's a louder turbo whistle too

Always loved the the VFR and there sweet V4 engines.

For daily drivers I've got a Volvo wagon problem. The 245 that I rebuilt over the past couple of years made me mad last winter (it was never meant to be a daily driver. It was a curb score and I got attached before I managed to flip it.
So I decided to get this nice clean V90. It's just like the other one but it's newer and it's got a really big engine and leather upholstery and subwoofers and a really big engine and IRS and a moonroof and a really big engine. Compared to the 240 anyway. Of course half those things need to be fixed.
Is the Westefalia a camper converted VW Transporter I'm thinking of, there awesome always had a thing for them. Save the Ghia

A '99 Mustang, 3.8L V6, manual transmission. I can fit one bike in the back seat if I take off the front tire and put it in the trunk.

Yeah, it's a converted Vanagon. It's good for about 75 miles an hour but you don't have to rush cause you can always just spend the night here.

We had Westfall a VA camper when I was kid in the later 70's..... pretty cool with a bed, sink and fold down table, lower as side storage cabinets plus the folding/screened top sleeper bunk on top of the van.
I think they were shipped directly from the factory with the roof steel panel Uninstaller and the interior aft of the front seat, bare, the Westphalia, which I think was a VW subcontractor in Germany....

If I keep my foot out if it with the Cherokee it is comparable to vehicles of similar size on the highway, and the mileage is comparable to my mother in law's Ford Escape which isn't a four wheel drive but weighs as much and is also as aerodynamic as a brick.

I paid less than 2k for my Cherokee so there is also the matter of no payments to add to the operational expense and so far it has cost me very little to maintain... it is going to get new rear springs next week and perhaps new shocks if those are required.

Really appreciated the Jeep today as I helped my friends lay their dog to rest and the crematorium is way out in the country, some roads that would have trashed the car or some of those potholes would have swallowed it right up.

Alfas and italian bikes, excellent combination : )

That Delica is pretty badass too.

I love vans, borrowed my friends van and wrote off a corolla when i stopped at a zebra crossing. The back bullbars where just like, what mate, that's it? The corolla got its front end shoved in a metre or so.

I want to comment on so many of the previous posts but instead I'll just contibute my ride. 89 Toyota pickup extended cab 2wd 3.0 v6. It has been my DD since I turned 16, I'm 32 now so I've had it over half my life. I like to tell people that comment on its age or that I "should" drive something else, we are in a long term relationship. I plan to drive it to my 20 year high school reunion. It has over 250k miles and has a list of could be fixed items but I just live with most. I've used it, abused and not been a stickler for maintenance, hauled way too heavy loads, ran with very little oil, overheated, spewed battery acid all over the engine bay, but keeps ticking.

Yeah, little pickups. I began my repping in an '85 Nissan standard cab and gave that truck to my bro-in-law when the clutch went out at 309K miles. I have a selfie (on film!) taken on the shoulder of I-95 in the rain at 300,000.0 miles. That little truck hauled a lot of bikes and parts in its day.

My own car is a 2003 Acura RSX. VERY reliable after almost 12 years. Plenty of room in the back (hatchback) for a bicycle, completely assembled and other gear.

Wife has had a bunch of BMWs, 3 series convt., 330 sedan, pair of 5 series wagons, started with a '79 5 series 4dr sedan after several sources of average vehicles that included a 2dr. diesel Chevette in a lt. bronze color. Currently she drives a '07 Dodge Magnum in silver.

My son's daily driver is "FRANK" an EX-Texas Hwy Patrol P71 CrownVic still in Black and White with push bar in place. His weekender is a '66 Plymouth Belvedere II, 383/727, Bench seat, Turquoise in and out on redlines/Americans

Currently my daily ride is about to be a 2000 Dakota 4cyl/manual, satin black, with some body mods. It's destined to be the dedicated bike transport with built-in racks. Still have the StarChief that we drive in good weather months. The '65 Bel I is an ongoing project, as is the D-50. The Meyers Manx is still here but has been on the back burner for years and years. The other vehicle that sees quite a bit of use in warmer months is my '64 Dodge 330 Wagon, 440/727, Satin Black. It was rusted out but revived enough to be presentable. Still a car nut, always have been, but it's weird now that I seem to spend most of the time looking for bicycle parts (instead of car parts) on Ebay
