April 1st may pass, but the sophomoric tenor of C&V will always remain.

I didn't intend my comment as a slight, but rather a celebration.

Would it help to know that the wheel isn't even fastened with a quick release?

Jokes aside, I once took my 1961 Paramount out with an FSA RD-80 front wheel - didn't feel like changing tubes before the ride. Quite a few roadies were trying to make heads or tails of it...

I've come very close to putting a cog and an English BB lockring on my Huffy mnt. bike and posting it over on the SS/Fixie board.

If you can't even bother to get a spoke card into the shot, why bother?

I didn't plan on it. I couldn't even stuff a fixed rear wheel in it for a full gag shot, for I don't have any rear track wheels.
