What bag is this?

This bag belongs to one of the members on this forum and I was wondering if anyone knows where I can acquire one.

Thanks

i'd guess that's a Nigel Smyth bag. I think the bike belongs to Lamplight, or something along those lines. Maybe pm him.

It is a bag sold by Rivendell bike works, made by Nigel Smythe from the U.K.

My LBS has that bag I'm pretty sure. It's really neat -until you find the price tag. It makes the Brooks bag look downright cheap.

The Rivendell bag from their site is similar but not exactly the same. $200 -maybe the one in the pic is last years model and slightly different or made by another maker.

That's definitely a Nigel Smythe beautiful "Town & Country" saddlebag. Rivendell no longer sells the Nigel Smythe brand. I've searched and searched and I don't know if there is anyone else in the world who does. I've read on the U.K. forums that this was a Rivendell proprietary brand. They used real tweed wool fabric but it looks that the bags themselves were made in the U.S., not in the UK as most people assumed. Even though they discontinued this bag about two years ago, I know there are lot of people who want one. If you can get your hands on one in good or new condition, that little bag is already commanding much higher prices than the $200 mentioned here.

People are crazy to pay $200+ for a duffle bag that isn't made by Tumi

This one is similar, 1/3 the price, real vintage, though not as stylish. I have one on my Varsity.
