Don't beat yourself up too much. A recent thread on Classic Rendezvous didn't give Photobucket much love. If you haven't invested too much into it yet, I'd look for an alternative: Flickr, Ipernity, etc.

Thank you for the suggestions. The photos I have been able to post have been mostly by dumb luck. I am finding it not very user friendly - at least for me. I may look into Flickr.

'83 620 I picked up at a yard sale last year. Bit small for me but a great ride.

'85 Trek 760 that I got from BF member sloar as a bare frame. Did some touch-up on it and from 5 feet it looks pretty good. Components are all Shimano 105 from 1987, but in really, really great shape cosmetically and mechanically. One size too small for me so it will wind up on the block, but so much fun to build a bike with such an awesome frame!

Discovered this past weekend that this is actually NOT a Trek. While very, very similar in style to a Trek/Bontrager Privateer, this is actually (confirmed by remnants of graphics under the horrible re-spray) a Giant Iguana. :eek:

When I was a kid, my Aunt & Uncle lived just outside Blackhawk- I remember taking the road (sort of like that one) from Central City to Idaho Springs. I could not imagine driving that...

While certainly not in the same spirit as the many fine vintage Treks shown in this thread, this is a Trek, it's 20 years old and it's American made steel. I decided I didn't like the bike I built up on a new frameset so I swapped the components over to my old Trek frame. I haven't gotten around to transferring the brakes over yet. I HATE messing with brakes!

Well, sorta. It was more original before I got my mitts on it. It already had the bar end shifters, which were a mod. I had a Nitto stem/bar combo laying around so I'm using those, and I swapped in some 700c wheels (American Classic hubs; Matrix rims). The saddle was toast but I had an Avocet touring, which seems appropriate. I believe the rest is original.

I don't recall seeing one of those 87 520s- that "burgundy/slate fade" is pretty styley. I also didn't realize how "legit" that bike was. Looks like a well equipped bike.
