My recently rebuilt '82 Trek 950 with all Campy Super Record. Fiamme tubular rims. Leather bar tape matches the pump :-) Repaint with a weird color, but its kind of grown on me. I'll probably track down some decals.

Since I've added another old Trek to the garage, I figured I'd post pictures of all 3 The 600 above this post caught my eye, I have the same bike, but changed it to a 3 x 9 set up with bar ends. Here is my 83 600.

85 660, set up with a 3 x 6 drivetrain.
And my latest find, an 81 710, I left the gearing alone on this one, it works fine for me.

Heres my 1986 560. Mostly stock. it has the original seat. I have since changed out the Brake levers with a set of 105 Brake Levers, until i can find a good pair of 600 Aero Levers Hoods for the pictured levers. The Pedals and the water bottle have been changed also but i have the original ones still safely tucked away for safe keeping.

1987 Trek 1000. Serial number 269270 and 269272.
269270 is setup with Ultegra brifters, 105 9spd drivetrain, Mavic Aksium Race wheels and a Specialized Toupe saddle.
269272 is how I had purchased it with bullhorns, Selle Italia saddle and stock everything else. I plan on swapping back to drops, though.
If you happen to know where I can find 269271 please let me know!

I also have an all white 1983 Trek 311, so I"m told. However it doesn't have a serial number on the bottom bracket. It has a name stamped in there. Leonard or Louie, can't remember which one. It's been a while since I looked at it. Anyone ever hear of names being stamped on frames before? By the time I noticed it I lost the contact info of the guy I bought it from.

I always thought that you weren't supposed to cold set aluminum. I just pry the rear triangle apart a little to get the wheel to drop in and then set the QR.

Down in the Sarasota area for vacation, we decided it might be cool to find some cheap bikes to get around on instead of renting crappy "beach cruisers". I found a Trek 510, which I will ship back home.

The Golden Boy 

The 400 Elance is steel. The stays are CrMo and the main tubes are double butted 531.

Nice looking 660... My guess is that you might have to go with SKS Race Blades or something similar. There probably isn't a ton of room to spare.

I'd like hammered fenders but doubt there is room since I've gone to 28mm tires. Cutting the front and possibly the rear to clear the brake is necessary. My plan is to avoid intentionally riding it in the rain but I don't want it to looked hacked together.

I just installed a VO constructeur rear rack using Tubus stay mounts which I forgot to mention in my previous post. This should help with mounting the rear fenders if I do need to cut them. I think a trip to Velo Orange may be the only way to see if hammered fenders aren't a pipe dream.

I've recently been bitten by the commuting bug. Seems like the 85 600 has chosen itself for that role. Here it is this morning after arriving at work. I added the front bag, front and rear lights and a pump.

I bought this new in the spring of 1989. Although I still have the FD and large chain-ring, I removed both when I realized that I used only the small ring. Other than that and a Brooks saddle, the bike is pretty much as it was when it left Wisconsin.

'83 700 "Rando a la Francaise". Full 531db, cast bb and crown, and dig those "bikini" lugs! Scored the frame and fork for $89 (!!!) on 'bay, FedEx delivered it at noon yesterday, I spent the afternoon (and a large part of the evening) stripping the old 610, cleaning up the parts and building up this beauty. Got out for a 14 mile "shakedown" today and the bike performed flawlessly. 650x38b, VO Zeppelin fenders, MAFAC Raid brakes, Shimano 3x9 indexed drivetrain.

A recent acquisition. I traded a couple other project bikes I had rehabbed over the winter. After LOTS of cleaning, a new chain, saddle, and new handle bar tape... I took it for a 20 mile just yesterday (maiden voyage). It rode great. I wish I had taken a better picture.

I actually felt bad that I didn't have a decent picture of my recently restored Trek. So I just took this picture. I took the pedals off as this bike will be a wall hanger.... for at least a little while.
