Advice on buying restored Bianchi

Looking for opinions on this bike in my local classifieds:

https://ottawa.kijiji.ca/c-buy-and-se...AdIdZ279172491

I am going to see it tonight, but anything I should watch out for? Does it look ok? Should I trust his restoration?

Thanks guys, I appreciate the help, it's a little overwhelming looking at all these used bikes and trying to figure out what is what!

There is one similar to that on Ebay right now. Ebay bike is less $$, and celeste not black. If I'm getting a Bianchi, I'm going for celeste!

wow, that one is really nice! There is a lot of bids right now, and shipping would probably be killer to canada! Nice color though!

ugh. not meaning to sound like a snob, but why would you buy a restored bianchi for that much? the logo/decals aren't even accurate...

Not sure, I don't think I will be buying this one. This is why I am posting here, I am not too familiar with these older bikes, so I am looking for opinions.

Repainted? Caveat emptor ... buyer beware. Guy may have screwed up something in the rebuild, or hit a nasty glitch, and is now trying to dump it. IMHO, you're better off finding an untouched Bianchi in celeste! Strange that the guy used those tires and saddle on this type of bike. $550 is a nice chunk of change.

Excellent points. I found another Bianchi just a few hours ago that is all original, and cheaper. I think I will be passing this one by

I would not want to buy a bike someone else restored unless I personally knew that someone or, he/she could offer proof of capability.

But a near NOS Bianchi from the mid eighties, might be of interest. And it is in Canada, Ontario, to be more precise.
