"Criterium" ??
I have a 1988 Cannondale SR500, beautiful bicycle, sporty, stiff riding machine.
I see the word "Criterium" on the frame in a couple of places, I have seen it mentioned on other brands of bikes too, so what does this mean?

Although the year doesn't quit go back to '88, this article seems to do a good job explaining the frame design features of the "criterium".https://allcdale.com/cannondale-30
